Raquel & Josh had plans to get married at the end of April, and like too many of you 2020 couples understand, they had to reimagine their big wedding once COVID-19 arrived. Instead of postponing their nuptials, they opted to go ahead with their ceremony and tie the knot with their immediate families and their wedding party.
These two pulled their resources together and hosted the cutest whimsical backyard DIY wedding, and it ended up being SO dreamy! They had a smoke machine that they borrowed from a friend, confetti poppers from the dollar store, multiple DIY objects such as the tapestry and the plexiglass backdrop used as their ceremony backdrop, and the most beautiful florals by Shelly Sarver Designs. A fun detail that I learned: while the florist created the floral arrangements around the plexiglass and next to the tapestry, the rest of the floral designs were created by the mother of the bride! What an absolute dream team!
