Iowa Outdoor Newborn Session: Grandma’s quilt, wildflowers, and a big sister
Late spring + early summer in Iowa is easily such a joyful, beautiful time with everything returning to it’s perfect shade of green — a more specific favorite aspect of this time of year, is getting to be outside for family and newborn photos again. A spring newborn means you can spend time outside, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite forms of newborn photography. It works especially well when it’s baby #2, #3, and so on. Space for the big siblings to run around makes things 1000x easier for everyone! Here is my latest outdoor newborn session in Des Moines, Iowa during the beginning of wildflower season. My favorite details: momma Laura borrowed a quilt from her mom, the purple wildflowers, and the excitement of the new big sister throughout it all.
